Miss. Sofia

Miss. Sofia was born and raised in Colombia and moved to Canada a few years ago to follow her passion for Early Learning and Child Care. Sofia’s love for working with children started at a very young age, and she’s always been fascinated by how much learning happens through play, curiosity, and everyday moments.

She is a very loving educator who truly believes in getting messy! Sensory exploration and messy play are some of her favorite ways to support children’s learning. When Sofia is not in the classroom, you can usually find her spending time with her family and friends, making bread, dancing, going on adventures, or trying something new. Sofia also has a furry child named Milo—he is one of her favorite topics of conversation, and she never misses a chance to share his pictures!
