Miss. Kelsey

Miss. Kelsey obtained her Level 3 Early Childhood Supervisor Certificate after graduating with her Child and Youth Care Counseling Diploma in 2013.  Since then, Miss. Kelsey has been working with children and families in a variety of settings including shelters, preschools, and group homes. 

Miss. Kelsey is passionate about the early years and believes the experiences that children have in their first 5 years are crucial to their development into adulthood.

Miss. Kelsey believes that “one size” does not fit all when it comes to learning and is passionate about creating an environment that can foster the unique learning styles of the children she works with. 

Miss. Kelsey enjoys going to trainings and staying up to date on the current childcare trends.  She also holds a certificate in Relational Therapeutic Play from the Canadian Association for Play Therapy.

Since being born and raised in Canmore, Miss. Kelsey loves spending time outdoors, especially camping in the summer months.  Miss. Kelsey and her husband have lived in Calgary for almost 10 years, and she is so happy to be a part of the Walden Team.
