Program Director
Alyna is a Level 3 Early Childhood Educator with over 10 years of experience in the field. She attended Mount Royal University where she earned a diploma in Early Learning and Child Care. Alyna also has a degree in linguistics with a specialization in speech and language from the University of Victoria. Alyna is fascinated by language and has a special passion for child language acquisition. Alyna loves talking to children and learning about their thoughts, feelings, understandings, and points of view. She uses this to build genuine relationships with children in order to construct the best environment for their learning. She brings her passion for positive environments and genuine connections into her role as director to support staff and create a welcoming environment for everyone!
Alyna is the mother of two young children and enjoys spending her personal time reading and listening to podcasts.
